Petit Verdot
Petit Verdot is a red grape varietal that is almost always used as a blending grape. This is due to Petit Verdot giving colour and aromas to other reds boosting the overall blend. It is usually, and most famously, blended into the wines of Bordeaux - or with Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot blends.
